2. Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing

Harkány Ingatlan Bt. processes personal data that users voluntarily provide through the website for the purposes of handling enquiries and providing real-estate brokerage services.

Legal bases:

  • Consent of the data subject (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a))
  • Performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b))
  • Legitimate interests of the controller (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) – maintaining and developing business relationships

3. Categories of Personal Data

Contact information submitted through the website: name, e-mail address, phone number, and any other information included in the message. Provision of data is voluntary.

4. Retention Period

Personal data are stored until the purpose of processing has been achieved or until the data subject requests deletion, but no longer than 5 years. Where processing is necessary for the performance of a contract, data are retained for 5 years after the contractual relationship ends, in accordance with the general limitation period under Hungarian civil law.

5. Data Transfers and Processors

Harkány Ingatlan Bt. does not transfer personal data to third parties unless required by law or the data subject has given explicit consent.

We engage the following data processors:

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) – web hosting and infrastructure (data centre: EU – Frankfurt region)
  • E-mail provider – mail infrastructure for delivering contact-form messages

Processors may only process personal data on the controller's documented instructions and in accordance with the data-processing agreement.
